A couple of weeks ago, I had the chance to visit the National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts and History. There I found a fascinating exhibit about Eileen Gray who was a brilliant Irish architect and furniture designer of the early 20th century. The exhibit blew me away as I found Eileen Gray to be decades ahead of her time. Her designs would fit in any modern home even though they were created almost a 100 years ago. She was a true visionary who later inspired modernism and art deco.

If you ever happen to go to the Decorative Arts and History museum in Dublin, I recommend that you take some time to explore the Eileen Gray exhibit.
