I was thinking today that it’s pretty sad to see terrorism become almost a normality in Pakistan. There are incidents of terrorism in the country on almost a daily basis and they have become so frequent that they hardly make for news headlines. It’s even worse to see everyone becoming indifferent to the situation. It’s almost as if terrorism is an expected reality in the country. I don’t think that there’s another country on the planet that has suffered more from terrorism than Pakistan yet they constantly get blamed for not doing enough. What are they really supposed to do? They are in a constant state of war with internal and external elements and have lost more soldiers than any other country in this so called war on terror. Americans love blaming Pakistan for everything but what exactly have the Americans done in Afghanistan with all their technology and superior military power. They have been fighting in Afghanistan for the past 9 years and yet they are far from securing the country.
