20s come to an end
June 21, 2010 is the largest day of the year and also happens to be last day of my 20s. I feel this was the decade that defined me in many ways and overall I feel that I became a better person though it all. I experienced so many amazing things during the last 10 years. I had some great relationships, got a degree, began my career, got married, and traveled around the world to places which I had only dreamed of before and lived in a new country. Now, I am eagerly looking forward to the 30s and even more adventures. Last Saturday, my wife along with about 30 friends threw me a great surprise party which was probably the biggest surprise that I have ever had in my life. It was an amazing night, spent with amazing people. I will certainly remember the experience for the rest of my life.
I have been living in Ireland for 4 years now and this blog is also 4 years old. Perhaps it’s time for a bit of change. I feel that my time in Ireland is finally coming to and end and it’s time for some relaxation, introspection, planning, and looking forward to bigger and better challenges. I am thinking of moving back to Canada soon which has been excited and a bit anxious at the same time.
I will dearly miss everyone in Ireland and all the great friendships that I have had over the course of the last few years.

Belated greetings on your birthday!
Canada…that’s an exciting new destination. As for being anxious about the move, I always think of these lines of Eliot when I confront changes of setting:
“Not farewell, but fare forward.”
Good luck.
